If your water bill has increased without reason, or you’re experiencing a weak water pressure around the property, your water main could have a leak.
A water main is the primary underground pipe that supplies water to your commercial, industrial or residential property. The team from Tweed Heads Leak Detection can provide same day servicing and repairs to ensure your water main is in top condition.
To book in a service, call our team on 1300 134 728. We service clients from the Northern Rivers down to Byron Bay and Ballina. Alternatively, you can also conduct a leak check by yourself before contacting our team for repairs.
For our clients in Tweed Heads, Pottsville, Murwillumbah or anywhere else in the Tweed Shire Council, you could qualify for a water cost rebate.
To be eligible, your property must have had a leak that was undetectable, with no visible or audible symptoms, requiring professional assistance.
Once your claim is approved, Tweed Shire Council will provide a 75% discount on the water which exceeds the average use for the previous 3 years.

Similar rebates are provided by the Gold Coast City Council, where any repairs made to concealed leaks within the mains water supply can be compensated. This excludes pool leaks and other plumbing fixtures. All work must be completed by a licensed plumber, along with a copy of the invoice.
